How many users can be in the same CoScreen session? There's no set limit and it depends on the computing resources of each participant. Depending on bandwidth and computing power, typically around 10.
Is CoScreen secure? Yes. Security is our top priority. CoScreen uses P2P whenever there are only two participants that can connect directly. With more than two particpants, we use an open source video infrastructure (Jitsi) with thousands of servers around the globe. Jitsi encrypts all video data using DTLS-SRTP and is also HIPAA compliant.
What security and privacy accreditations does CoScreen have? Our infrastructure is built on the ISO 27001, FISMA, NIST-compliant, and HIPAA-compatible vendor 8x8. We have SOC2 Type 1 certification, and meet the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) requirements of the European Union. Read more about our security and certification status.
Where can I find the release notes? You can read and subscribe to product announcements at updates.coscreen.co.
Is there a public API? Yes. Our API is currently beta and provides a limited set of actions, and we're ready for your feedback. You can learn more at our Postman Workspace. And we'd love to hear what you're building.
